Artist Invitation, October 2009 In August, I was invited by Art Business News to submit a black and white image for display in its October 2009 edition. For this purpose, I selected a digital photograph I took of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. I invite you to view St. Vitus. St. Vitus Cathedral sits high on a hill by the Royal Palace in Prague. It is the dominant city landmark. St. Vitus is hard to ignore. Notice how the image captures the looming mysterious quality of the Cathedral from behind tree branches in the Royal Gardens. You are also invited to view Morning Dock, a photograph I took in Tremezzo, Italy. Tremezzo is a wonderful town on Lake Como. Today, I am now painting this very scene in oils.
