This photograph, Morning Dock, is also a recent Borgia painting and is the second work in the unfinished Mediterranean series. The painting is based on this photograph I took as I waited on a dock to leave the Italian town of Tremezzo by boat. Tremezzo is on Lake Como in northern Italy. It faces the beautiful and famous town of Bellaggio on the opposite side of the Lake. Like I did with this work, I often use photographs to paint places I visit.
